Is that Church Open?The list that follows is an attempt to provide information about the opening times of most churches in Suffolk for people planning a visit. Roman Catholic and non-conformist churches and chapels and redundant churches are, to our regret, not yet included.We are most grateful to the Archdeacons in the Diocese of St Edmundsbury for a great deal of hard work in helping to compile this list. Where the key is shown as available when the church is locked, the name and address of the keyholder is usually to be found on a notice-board near the church entrance. Where specific opening days are not indicated, a telephone call to the incumbent or a church warden (details in the Diocesan Directory) may save time and disappointment. Although we have tried to make the list as up-to-date as possible, changes do occur and we can in no way guarantee the accuracy of the information provided. If you do come across any inaccuracies or omissions we would be most grateful if you would bring them to our notice.
